H. Catelli Co., Ltd., Montreal. Born Varennes, Que., April 26, 1864, son of A. Bienvenu and Octavie Larose (second cousin to the late Hon. Sir L. H. Lafontaine). Educated: Varennes Business College, P.Q. With A. Couillard, Wholesale Hardware, Montreal, 1882-85; Principal, Varennes Business College, 1885-88; entered Banking Profession, 1888. Joint Honorary Treasurer, King Edward VII Memorial Fund, Montreal, 1911; Member, Finance Committee, Canadian Red Cross Association; Member, Finance Committee, Canadian Patriotic Fund; Member, Honorary Advisory Council, on Industrial and Scientific Research for the Dominion of Canada, established by an Order in Council of June 6, 1916, which received the approval of His Excellency the Governor General on Nov. 29, 1916. Married Clare Martin, daughter of Patrick Martin, Railway Contractor, May, 1885; has four sons and seven daughters. Residence: 498 Mount Pleasant Ave., Westmount, Que.; Summer Residence: Murray Bay, Pointe à Pic, Que.
