Entered Railway Service, July 1, 1883, as junior Clerk in Treasurer's Office, Grand Trunk Railway Co. of Canada; since which he has been, consecutively, April, 1890, to Feb., 1896, Secretary to Freight Traffic Manager, Chicago & Grand Trunk Ry., at Chicago; Feb., 1896, to May, 1899, Secretary to General Traffic Manager, Grand Trunk Ry. System, at Montreal; May to August, 1899, Division Freight Agent, same Road, at Hamilton, Ont. ; August, 1899, to May, 1900, Division Freight Agent, Grand Trunk Ry. System, and Manager, Grand Trunk Dispatch Line, Detroit, Mich.; May, 1900, to March, 1901, General Freight Agent, Central Vermont Ry., St. Albans, Vt.; March, 1901, to April,. 1902, Asst: to 2nd Vice-President & General Manager, Grand Trunk Ry. System, Montreal, Que. ; April, 1902, to August 13, 1905 , Gen'l Freight Agent. Central Vermont Railway, St. Albans, Vt.; August 14; 1905, to April 30, 1908, General Freight Agent, G.T.R.
