Charles Sanderson Fosbery

 

Schoolmaster, Lower Canada College (established, 1909), Successors to The St. John's School Co., 106 Royal Ave., Montreal. Born Worksop, 1865, son of George William Fosbery, of Gloucester, and Frances Simpson Sanderson, of Sheffield. Educated: Newark Grammar School; Trinity College, Dublin (M.A., A.R.C.O.). Came to Canada, 1900; Assistant Music Master, Cheltenham College, 1887; Headmaster, Howden Grammar School, Yorks, 1888; Associate Royal College of Organists, 1887; B.A., T.C.D., 1891; M.A., T.C.D., 1895; Conductor, Howden Choral Society, 1887-1900; Conductor, N. Cave Choral Society; Conductor, Church Choral Society, 1890-1900; Headmaster, Lower Canada College, Montreal; Organist, St. John's Church, Montreal; Chorister's Aid to Monotoning. Clubs: University (Montreal); Canadian Club. Conservative. Anglican.
