Battle of Fish Creek


Fish Creek, Battle of, an engagement in the North West rebellion of 1885, on April 24, between General Middleton's column and the rebels under Gabriel Dumont, on the South Saskatchewan river, south of Batoche. The result of the engagement was to check for a time General Middleton's advance.
