Congregation of the Sacerdotal Fraternity

Congregation of the Sacerdotal Fraternity. Founded in Paris in 1901 by a Canadian, Father M. E. Prévost, the congregation of the Sacerdotal Fraternity now comprises three houses in Italy, four in France, and one in Canada. It devotes itself to the service of the priesthood, through prayer and through the maintenance of rest homes for priests who are travelling, infirm, and aged. It also takes charge of the preaching of ecclesiastical and closed retreats and the publication of ecclesiastical literature.
