Parks Canada, in Gros Morne National Park, has restored the cabin and fish store used by the Mudge family (three brothers, their wives and children) to fish on this site during the summer periods between 1941 and 1975. The buildings house many of the implements used by the family at the time. However, the main attraction of this site is that the guide Bill Bennett is himself a former fisherman who is able from personal experience to explain with humour, knowledge and feelings a way of life that has come to pass in Newfoundland.
