Edmond Dupré, Officier de l'Instruction Publique (France) and Marie (Blanchet) Dupré, daughter of Hon. Dr. J. G. Blanchet, former Speaker of both the House of Commons and Legislative Assembly. Educated: Collège de Lévis; Laval and Oxford Universities (LL.L.). Read law with Taschereau, Roy, Cannon, Parent & Fitzpatrick, 1908-11; called to the Bar of Quebec, 1911. Married Anita Arden Dowd, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Dowd, Sr., New York , N.Y., Nov. 26, 1919 . Clubs: Garrison; Quebec Golf; Quebec Tennis; Quebec Squash Racquet; Canadian (President, 1923). Recreation: Tennis, golf, squash ball. Catholic. Residence: 144 Grand Allée, Quebec, Que.
