Decorated by the French Republic with the "Palmes Académiques," being appointed "Officier de l'Instruction Publique" of France, Sept., 1918. Born Montreal, Sept. 29, 1855 , son of Antoine Edouard and Julie (Le Blond) Dupre. Educated: Quebec Commercial Academy ; Collège de Lévis. Married Marie Amélie, daughter of Hon. J. G. Blanchet, M.D., ex-Speaker, House of Commons, Ottawa, 1884; has two sons and two daughters. Roman Catholic. Residence: 77 St. Louis St., Quebec, Que.
