President, Taylor & Arnold, Ltd., Transportation Building, Montreal. Born Broughty Berry, Scotland, March 22, 1881 , son of J. Porteous and Jemina (Shaw) Arnold. Educated: High School, Quebec; Tucker's School, Montreal; High School, Montreal. President, Manitoba Steel Foundries, Ltd., Winnipeg. Came to Canada, 1887. Joined late John Taylor and established firm of Taylor and Arnold, 1906. Married Beatrice Taylor, daughter of John Taylor, Montreal, Sept. 2, 1905 ; has two sons and one daughter. Clubs: Engineers'; Royal Montreal Golf; Montreal Jockey; Mount Bruno Golf; M.A.A.A.; Automobile Club of Canada; Manitoba, Winnipeg. Societies: Dominion Commercial Travellers' Assoc.; A. F. & A.M.; St. Paul 's Lodge. Recreation: Golf. Conservative. Presbyterian. Residence: 22 Ontario Ave., Montreal.
