Michael Patrick Fennell (jr.)

General Manager and Secretary, Harbour Commissioners of Montreal, 57 Common Street, Montreal. Born Montreal, March 13, 1885, son of Captain Michael Patrick Fennell and Mary Ann Fitzpatrick. Educated: St. Ann's School; Mont St. Louis College; McGill University, Applied Science Course. Life Governor and Director of Catholic Sailors' Club and Montreal Sailors' Institute; Member, Montreal Board of Trade; Member, Chambre de Commerce; Chairman, Montreal Grain Clearance Board; Chairman, Grain Elevator Commission; General Secretary, European Harbour and Dock Assoc.; President, American Assoc. of Port Authorities. During the War organized the British Sailors' Relief Fund and the Navy League of Canada, with position of Hon. Dominion Secretary-Treasurer. Granted Special Service Decoration (S.S.D.) for War Work. Clubs: Summerlea Golf; Royal St. Lawrence Yacht; Montreal; M.A.A.A.; S.A.A.A.; Outremont Curling; Canadian (New York). Recreations: Golf, yachting, motoring. Roman Catholic. Residence: 261 Bloomfield Ave., Outremont, Que.
