Jules Tremblay

Tremblay, Jules (1879-1927), author, was born in Montreal, Quebec, in 1879. He became first a journalist, and then a translator on the staff of the House of Commons at Ottawa. He died at Ottawa on November 28, 1927. He was the author of Des mots, des vers (Montreal, 1911), Du crépuscule aux aubes (Ottawa, 1917), Les ferments (Ottawa, 1917), Aromes du terroir (Ottawa, 1918), Les ailes qui montent (Ottawa, 1918), La vente de la poule noire (Ottawa, 1920), Trouées dans les novales (Ottawa, 1921), Nos lettres (Ottawa, 1921), Sainte-Anne d'Ottawa: Un résumé d'histoire (Ottawa, 1925), and several other books and pamphlets.
