ATWOOD, William S., M.E. - Vice-President, Canadian Car and Foundry Company, Limited, 307 Craig St. W., Montreal; Vice-President, Canadian Steel Foundries, Limited, and the Pratt & Letchworth Company, Limited. Born Conneaut, Ohio, Jan. 19, 1876, son of Edwin and Marion Atwood. Educated: Public schools; Correspondence schools. Came to Canada, January, 1903; formerly Draughtsman, Simplex Railway Appliance Co., Hammond, Ind.; Mechanical Engineer, same company, Montreal; formerly Mechanical Engineer, Dominion Car and Foundry Co., Limited. Married Jessie A. Elliott, April 7, 1897 ; has one daughter. Clubs: Marlborough Golf and Country Club; Beaconsfield Golf. Societies: Engineering Institute of Canada ; American Society of Mechanical Engineers; K. of P.; I.O.F. Recreation: Golf. Methodist. Residence: 659 Belgium Ave., Westmount, Que.
