Lieut.-Col. Charles Adams

 

Managing Director, Adams Chemical Co., Ltd., 27 St. Sacrament Street, Montreal. Born St. John's, Newfoundland, Sept. 6, 1875, son of Thomas Adams and Jane Roberts. Educated: St. John's Methodist College, Newfoundland; Bishop's College, Montreal . Certificate in Chemistry. Member, 2nd Canadian Garrison Artillery, 1892-95; Victoria Rifles, 1895-98; Canadian Army Medical Corps, 1898-1902; serving with 10th Canadian Field Hospital, South African War, 1902; Canadian Army Service Corps, 1911 to date; serving with same Unit during the Great War, 1914-1919. Married Agnes C. Hesse, Sept. 6, 1898; has one son and six daughters. Club: St. Lambert Boating Club (Hon. President). Society: A.F. & A.M. (Past President, Newfoundland Society). Recreations: Swimming, sailing, riding, skating. Church of England. Residence: 67 Birch Ave. , St. Lambert, Que.
