Rodolphe Monty

 

Monty, Rodolphe (1874-1928), secretary of state for Canada (1921), was born in Montreal, Quebec, on November 30, 1874, and was educated at Laval and McGill Universities. He was called to the bar of Quebec in 1897 (K.C., 1909), and was in 1829 batonnier of the bar of Montreal. From September to December, 1921, he was secretary of state in the Meighen administration. He died at St. Hyacinthe, Quebec, on December 1, 1928.
