DICKIE, Rev. Robert William, B.A., D.D. - Pastor, Knox-Crescent Presbyterian Church, Montreal. Born Hyde Park, Ont., Jan. 28, 1873, son of George Dickie and Jane Marshall. Educated: Toronto University (B.A., 1894); Edinburgh University ; Knox College; Montreal Presbyterian College (D.D., 1913). Minister of St. Andrew's Church, Orangeville, Ont., 1898-1903; St. Paul's Church, Brandon, Man., 1903-08; Knox-Crescent Church, Montreal, 1909 to date. Chairman, Protestant Board of School Commissioners, Montreal, 1917-23. Author of Grounds of International Morality, War and the Survival of the Fit, Letters of an Old Minister to his Son. Married Alexina McDonald, June 27, 1900 ; has one son, Douglas, and one daughter, Margaret. Clubs: University (Montreal); Montreal Curling Club; Maitland Golf Club. Residence : 55 The Boulevard, Westmount, Que.
