Joseph Cohen, B.C.L.

 

Advocate, of Cohen, Gendron & Gauthier, 92 Notre Dame Street E., Montreal. Born in Russia, 1890, son of Myer Cohen and Rebecca Benyash. Educated: Dufferin School; Montreal High School; McGill University; and short period after graduation, at Laval University. Married Bella Gross, May 25th, 1913. Has been practicing law since 1912; specializing in Criminal Law. Liberal in Politics. Was candidate in 1923 Provincial election, St. Lawrence Division, but defeated. Clubs and Societies: Montefiore Club; Montreal Reform; Canadian; Young Men's Hebrew Assoc. and numerous others. Jewish. Residence: 281 Marlowe Ave., Montreal.
