Attorney, Barrister, etc., Senior Member of the Law Firm of Denis, Ferland & Denis, Joliette, P.Q. Born St. Cuthbert, P.Q., Jan. 27, 1876, son of Gaspard Denis and Eugénie de Grandpré. Educated: Jacques Cartier Normal School , Montreal (Highest Diploma in the gift of the above Institution); [ Laval University ]. Admitted Member of the Bar of the Province of Quebec, 1901; created K.C., 1912. Liberal; [defeated candidate in 1911 for the riding of Berthier] elected Member of Parliament for the County of Joliette, Dec. 17, 1917, by 340 majority; re-elected on Dec. 6, 1921, by 2,440 majority [re-elected 1925, 1926; resigned his seat, April 23, 1928. Appointed Judge of the Superior Court of Quebec , Nov. 1928; retired, Aug. 1, 1948. Died: Sept. 22, 1960 in Montreal ]. Married Louise Olivier, Dec. 26, 1910 ; [secondly Marie-Ellie Le Page, March 2, 1946 ]. Roman Catholic. Address: Joliette , P.Q.
