Fort Henry

Fort Henry, a military fort built in 1812 on Point Henry, on the eastern side of the mouth of the Cataraqui river, overlooking the harbour of Kingston, Upper Canada. In 1832 the original fort was demolished; and in 1832-6 the present fort was built. See W. Kirkconnell, Fort Henry , 1812-1914 (Queen's Quarterly, 1920) and F. G. M.
