Fort Conolly

 

Fort Conolly, a Hudson's Bay Company post built in 1826 at the north end of Bear lake, in northern British Columbia, near the source of the Skeena river. It was named by Sir James Douglas after William Conolly. It appears to have been closed about 1900.
