Fort Bourbon

Fort Bourbon, a French fur-trading post on a small island, now called Fort island, near the mouth of the Saskatchewan river, between Cedar lake and Mud lake. It was built by Pierre de la Vérendrye in 1741. It was abandoned about 1758.
