CHRISTIE, Clarence V., M.A., B.Sc. - Consulting Engineer. Professor of Electrical Engineering, McGill University , Montreal. Born Conva, Trinidad , B.W.I., Feb. 2, 1882, son of Thomas Christie, of Yarmouth, N.S., and Georgina Christie, Truro , N.S. Educated: Halifax Academy ; Dalhousie College ; McGill University; B.A. (Dalhousie), 1902; M.A. (Dalhousie), 1903; B.Sc. (McGill), 1906. Member, American Institute of Electrical Engineers; Associate Member, Engineering Institute of Canada. Came to Halifax, N.S., 1884; to Quebec, 1904; Lecturer, McGill University, Montreal, 1907; Asst. Professor, McGill, 1909; Associate Professor, McGill, 1918. Author of Electrical Engineering, McGraw Hill Book Co., 1913, revised, 1917. Clubs: Mount Royal Tennis; Winter. Married Edith M. Mowatt, daughter of Rev. A. J. Mowatt, Montreal (deceased), Dec., 1909; has two sons. Presbyterian. Residence: 37 Holton Ave., Westmount, P.Q.
