ARCHAMBAULT, Joseph, B.A., LL.B., K.C., M.P. - Barrister and Solicitor, Archambault & Marcotte, 30 St. James Street, Montreal. Born Montreal, Feb. 17, 1879 , son of Dr. Gaspard Archambault and Marie Louise Papin. Educated: Collège Ste. Marie; Laval University, Montreal. Commissioner to Ireland Dellon case, 1908; Member, Council, Montreal Bar, 1913; Crown Prosecutor, District of Montreal, Nov. 1922, still occupying said position; now Chairman, Committee on Privileges and Elections, House of Commons; Governor, Notre Dame Hospital. Elected House of Commons, 1917, Chambly-Verchères, maj. 2063, against J. H. Rainville, Dep. Speaker; re-elected, 1921, 4023 majority. Married Tabiola Martin, Feb. 6th, 1912 ; has one son and one daughter. Clubs: M.A.A.A. (Life Member); N.A.A.A.; St. Denis; Montreal Reform; Canadian; Laval sur le Lac Golf; Outremont Tennis (President). Recreations: Tennis, golf, chess. Roman Catholic. Residence: 320 Querbes Ave., Outremont, Que.
