William Vondenvelden
Vondenvelden, William (d. 1809), surveyor, was assistant surveyor-general of the province of Lower Canada, and collaborated with Louis Charland in the first authoritative map of the province published in 1813. He died in the parish of St. Henri, Lower Canada, on June 20, 1809, from an accident when riding his horse. He was, with Louis Charland, compiler of Extraits des titres des anciennes concessions de terre en fief et seigneurie dans la partie actuellement appelée le Bas-Canada. (Quebec, 1803). Source : W.
