Wakefield
Wakefield , a village in Hull county, Quebec, on the Gatineau river, and on the Canadian Pacific Railway, 20 miles from Hull. It is named after Wakefield, a town in Yorkshire, England. The chief industries are farming and lumbering. Wakefield lake, a short distance from the village, is a tourist resort. Source : W.
