Ville Lasalle
Ville Lasalle, a town in Jacques Cartier county, Quebec, on the southern shore of the island of Montreal, at the head of the Lachine rapids, and on the Canadian Pacific Railway, 10 miles west of Montreal. It was incorporated in 1912, and was named in honour of Cavelier de la Salle, who built a fort here. It is mainly a residential centre. Source : W.
