Thomas Côté
Coté, Thomas (1869-1918), journalist and author, was born at Trois Pistoles, Quebec, on September 22, 1869, the son of Théophile Coté and Flavie Larivée. He was educated at Laval University (B.A., 1889), became a journalist, and was from 1904 to 1909 managing-editor of La Presse, Montreal. He then accepted a position in the Dominion civil service; and he died at Montreal on January 16, 1918. He was the author of Trois études (Lévis, 1891). Source : W.
