Sisters of Mercy
Sisters of Mercy (Miséricorde). This community was founded in Montreal in 1848 by Mgr. Bourget and by Madame Rosalie Jetté, Soeur de la Nativité. In addition to its special work, which is the reclamation of sinners, it has established and operated a number of hospitals throughout Canada and parts of the United States.
