CAMPBELL, Robert Peel William, M.A., LL.B., D.C.L., K.C. - Advocate, Clerk of the Legislature of the Province, Quebec, Que. Born St. Hilaire, Que., Aug. 27th, 1853, son of Major Thomas Edmund Campbell, Seigneur of Rouville, and Henriette Julie Anne Juchereau (Duchesnay) Campbell. Educated: Bishop's College School , Lennoxville; University of Bishop 's College (B.A., June, 1873; M.A., June, 1876); Laval University , Quebec (LL.B., Dufferin Gold Medal); Hon. D.C.L., University of Bishop 's College, June, 1907. Called to Quebec Bar, 1877; created K.C., June, 1903; practised Quebec , since. Assistant Clerk, Legislative Council, 1883; Clerk, 1909; Clerk of Private Bills and Railways, 1893; Clerk, English Journal and English Translator of the Legislative Council, 1883. Trustee, University of Bishop 's College; Chairman of Directors, Bishop's College School, Lennoxville (Boys' School), 1908-12; Trustee, King's Hall, Compton (Girls' School). Chancellor of the Diocese of Quebec, and Secretary thereof in 1905; Delegate to General Synod of Church of England. Church of England. Address: Quebec, Que.
