Raymond Beaudry
Secretary and Treasurer, Dorval Jockey Club, 99 St. James Stree, Montreal. Born St. Jérome, Que., July 12, 1882, son of Hector Beaudry and Malvina Ducharme. Educated: Parochial School in St. Marc, Verchères County, and Montreal Business College. Was employed as Stenographer-Secretary from 1900 to 1903, successfully passing in 1902 the Civil Service examination, and also the Montreal Court House examination, for admission to practice as a Court House reporter. Travelled in Europe, 1903-04; engaged in the Import business, 1904-08; Real Estate Agent, 1908-15; has been Secretary and Treasurer of the Dorval Jockey Club from 1915 to date; Secretary of the Tramways Commission in 1917-18; Secretary of the Montreal Tramways Commission, 1918-20. In 1918, took part in the Victory Loan Campaign as Secretary of the Speakers Committee. Has contributed many articles and interviews to various newspapers. Director, The Transportation and Power Corporation, Ltd. Married Marie Mignault, May 14, 190; has two daughters, Marielle and Raymonde. Club: Life Member of N.A.A.A. Liberal. Roman Catholic. Residence: 241 Mount Royal Ave. W., Montreal.
