Rawdon
Rawdon, a village in Montcalm county, province of Quebec, situated on the river Lac Ouareau, 8 miles from Ste. Julienne, on the Canadian National Railway. In 1799 the place was named in honour of Francis Rawdon, Marquis of Hastings (1754-1826). The chief industries are sawmills and grist mills. Source : W.
