Normandin, a village in Lake St. John county, Quebec, on the Canadian National Railway, 70 miles from St. Bruno. It was named after Joseph Laurent Normandin, the surveyor who mapped the Lake St. John district in 1733. It is the centre of an agricultural district, with cheese and butter factories; and it is also a lumbering centre.
