Metabetchouan
Metabetchouan, a village in the lake St. John district, Quebec, on the south shore of lake St. John at the mouth of the Metabetchouan river, and on the Canadian National Railway. The name is an Indian word signifying "where the current of the river meets the water of the lake." Source : W.
