Lavaltrie
Lavaltrie, a village in Berthier county, Quebec, on the Canadian Pacific Railway, 35 miles east of Montreal. It is named after Séraphin Marganne, Sieur de Lavaltrie, to whom the seigniory of Lavaltrie was granted in 1672. It is in a prosperous agricultural district. Source : W.
