John Pangman
Pangman, John (1808-1867), legislative councillor of Lower Canada, was the son of Peter Pangman and was born on November 13, 1808. He inherited his father's estate at Mascouche, Lower Canada, and was the seignior of Lachenaie. In 1837-8 he was a member of the Legislative Council of Lower Canada. He died on January 5, 1867. He was twice married; (1) in 1835 to Marie Henriette, daughter of the Hon. Janvier Lacroix, by whom he had three sons and two daughters, and (2) in 1857 to Georgiana, daughter of Dr. Robertson, of Montreal, by whom he had one son. Source : W.
