James Forsyth

 

Forsyth, James (1759-1843), merchant, was born in Scotland on June 23, 1759, the fourth son of William Forsyth and Jean Phyn, of Huntly. He was in Canada for a short time, in the firm of Forsyth, Richardson and Co., but returned to England, and became a member of Lloyds. He died in 1843.
