Gustave Adolphe Drolet
Drolet, Gustave Adolphe (1844-1904), lawyer and author, was born at St. Pie, Quebec, on February 16, 1844, and was educated at the College of St. Hyacinthe and at Masson College, Terrebonne. He was called to the bar in 1866, and practiced law in Montreal. In 1868 he undertook, at the instance of Sir Wilfrid Laurier, a political mission to Rome in connection with the Manitoba school question. He died at Montreal on October 17, 1904. Besides numerous contributions to periodicals, he was the author of Zouaviana (Montreal, 1893).
