Eugène Lafleur
Lafleur, Eugene (1856-1930), lawyer and author, was born at Longueuil, Quebec, in 1856. He was educated at McGill University (B.A., 1877; B.C.L., 1877; D.C.L., 1900), and was called to the Quebec bar in 1881 (Q.C., 1899). From 1890 to 1909 he was professor of international law at McGill University ; and he became an outstanding jurist. He died at Ottawa on April 29, 1930. Besides numerous papers on legal subjects, he was the author of The conflict of laws in the province of Quebec (Montreal, 1898). Source : W.
