Drummond
Drummond, a county in southern Quebec, lies west of the Arthabaska county, and has been for many years united with it for electoral purposes. It derives its name from Sir Gordon Drummond (q.v.), administrator of Canada (1814-5). It is drained by the St. Francis river. Chief town, Drummondville. Pop. 36,683. See J. C.
