Arthur Cassegrain
Cassegrain, Arthur (1835-1868), poet, was born at L'Islet, Lower Canada, on October 4, 1835, the son of Eugène Casgrain and Hortense Dionne; and he died on February 9, 1868. He was the author of a humorous poem entitled La grande tronciade, ou Itinéraire de Québec à la Rivière-du-Loup (Ottawa, 1866). Source : W.
