Born Montreal, Dec. 31, 1872, son of James Alfred Bazin and Ellen Irene Childs, of Montreal . Married Effie Vernon Hersey, daughter of Randolph Hersey (deceased), Sept. 20, 1899 ; has one son and three daughters. Educated: Montreal High School; McGill University (M.D., C.M.). Served with 9th Canadian Field Ambulance, Major and Lieut.-Col. Commanding, Jan. 3, 1916, to Nov. 4, 1917; 3rd Canadian General Hospital, Lieut.-Col. in charge of Surgery, Nov. 4, 1917, to Oct. 6, 1918. Clubs: University and Canadian of Montreal . Presbyterian. Residence: 4064 Dorchester Street, Westmount, Que.
