Adolphe Félix Dechaux
President, Dechaux Frères, Ltée., Dyers and Cleaners, 628 Beaudry Street, Montreal. Born Montreal, Jan. 28th, 1876, son of Joseph and Émilie (Piché) Dechaux. Educated: Montreal Schools ; Feller Institute, Grande Ligne, Quebec. Commenced with Thos. Robertson's Wholesale Plumbers' Supplies. With J. Langhoff, 1896; the Canada Steam Laundry and Dye Works for four years; then took over the business on the death of J. Langhoff. Carried on same under the name of Dechaux, which was later changed to Dechaux Frères. Member, Montreal Board of Trade. Fellow, Royal Colonial Society. Married Eva Maud Langhoff, daughter of the late J. Langhoff, Sept., 1901. Clubs: Kiwanis; Automobile Club of Canada ; Canadien; Canadian Manufactuers' Association. Recreations: Motoring, golf. Residence: 44 Cherrier Street, Montreal.
